The After Party | Sarah & David's Wedding | Old Dobbin Station
Texas wedding band, The After Party, first caught Sarah and David's eye at a performance in Dallas, TX, and they decided instantly that they found their wedding band. The couple's wedding was in Houston, TX, but that was no problem for Stargazer Productions and The After Party band. Performing weddings all over the great state of Texas and traveling out of state, is what they do all the time!
Sarah and David were married on September 12, 2020 at Old Dobbin Station in Houston, TX. Houston wedding band, The After Party, supercharged their reception, keeping the guests dancing the whole night. Stargazer Productions worked closely with the couple and their wedding planner, Bailee Burch, to plan the reception entertainment. The couple had some special requests and secret surprises that Stargazer Productions and The After Party incorporated into the performance and entertainment timeline.
The reception was held at Old Dobbin Station. The chapel and wedding venue is a unique and enchanting building with rich history, build in the early 1900's. The reception site has a vintage feel, wrapping the evening in magic. Old Dobbin Station offers a chapel, outdoor ceremony site, bridal suite, groom's room, and a reception area full of vintage charm. Sarah and David picked the perfect wedding venue for their special day.
Stargazer Productions streamed music during the cocktail hour prior to The After Party's first set where they played relaxed music for the guests during dinner. Once dinner concluded, the party was set into full swing in the reception hall after the introduction of the wedding party.
The couple desired the groomsman to be introduced to a streamed medley of songs. Cord Stone of Stargazer Productions spliced together a series of song segments to create a new prerecorded song that the band to cued up at the appropriate time. The groom also requested to come on stage with the band and sing "Sara," by Starship as a surprise for his new bride Sarah. The After Party worked the surprise into their set, unknowing by Sarah. The family and guests were awed by his sweet song.
