Austin Texas Superhero Party Band, The Space Rockers, got the 80's night rockin', opening for the iconic 80's pop rock band, The Outfield, at Pharr Events Center in South Texas on December, 8, 2018. The Space Rockers are a themed party band, complete with characters, costumes and comedy that make an impact wherever their spaceship takes them. Their out-of-this-world show is like having a comic book come to life to the soundtrack of the 80's and 90's.
Combining their super powers with sweet dance moves and awesome music, The Space Rockers pack dance floors on their voyage to bring the groove back to Earth! Stinger, Probe, Thunderstick, Captain Cosmos, and Neuron along with their dynamic spaceship take audiences on an unforgettable journey, playing their own brand of "superhero dance rock," revered for their dance-charged versions of hip hop and pop.
Droves of excited rock fans lined up and wrapped around the Pharr Events Center eagerly anticipating The Space Rockers and The Outfield. The 2500-seat indoor arena with a standing concert-capacity of 3500, hosted the highly-anticipated concert, celebrating the great music of the 80's and The outfield.
Performing the greatest his of the 80's, The Space Rockers got the crowd pumping with their comedic antics, outrageous stage personality and hilarious dance moves. The Austin show band energized thousands of people packing the concert venue, priming the stage for The Outfield.
Texas Party band, The Space Rockers, never disappoints. These hilarious superheroes from outer-space make their own renditions of the best dance songs from the 80's, new wave and rock, 90's to today's radio hits. This outrageously unique show band has performed at some of Texas' premier galas, fundraisers, balls and weddings. They've also rocked city events, festivals, fairs, universities, high schools, Quinceañeras, and corporate events.
Known for their hit single, "Your Love," The Outfield took the stage at Pharr Event Center after The Space Rockers energized the thousands of spectators with their comedy, awesome 80's song renditions, and outrageous spacesuits that would make any alien or earthling swoon.
The Outfield performed all their greatest hits to an excited and receptive audience. The headliner's energy was high and their 80's dance moves flawless. The crowd cheered song after song, not wanting the night to end, looking for a sign for Doc and Marty's DeLorean to blast them back to the actual 1980's.
